Save money with our Seconds and Closeouts. Occasionally our shipments receive less than kid-glove handling on their trek from Australia to the US. The result is that we receive products that don’t meet our first-run sales criteria. Most of the time, we use these “Seconds and Closeouts” ourselves but now and then there are too many to absorb.
The largest problem is that the rough handling combined with the flex in the packaging material causes the jars to rub vertically catching the safety rings and pulling them down to the point of partial detachment. A tab or two is cosmetically reasonable but when it becomes excessive it no longer is a product we want to send out at full or even on a “sale” price. On close inspection of Seconds and Closeout, the lids remain sealed and the product seems intact.
Other Seconds and Closeout issues may include damaged (dented) plastic jars, products near the “Best By” date, or discontinued items.
Thus this is a liquidation price therefore all sales are final and sold “as is” and “use at your own risk”
We recommend that the product is refrigerated upon receipt.
Seconds and Closeout may be any of our broth flavors, but we never know what we may have available before receipt of shipment.
If the category on the shop page doesn’t say “Sold Out” then jars are available.
If you are interested in our Seconds and Closeout, contact me at [email protected] to learn about the availability of quantities and flavors.
Alternatively, I will ship what I have available using a mix of flavors with multiple jar orders.
